Yin Yoga is a slower paced, deep working type of yoga. When staying in the poses a bit longer (up to several minutes) you will draw your attention inwards and make conscious contact with your body. By letting go of tension in the muscles, and letting time and gravity do 'the work', you will sink deeper in every pose. All resulting in more body awareness and more awareness of thought and emotions. Blockages can be removed and you will gain more flexibility.
Slow flow is also a slower paced type of class. In these classes we alternate various yoga poses (hatha & yin) with some flowing movements (chi kung & tai chi). Sometimes a bit of flow, sometimes more static poses. All in combination with exercises from meditation, breathwork & affirmations.
Yoga nidra is a guided meditation that results in deep relaxation on subconscious level. Completely relaxed in shavasana you will come in a state between waking and sleeping. It relaxes physical, mental and emotional stress or anxiety and it will balance your energy deficiency. It contributes to more peace of mind, more clarity, a better focus, a relaxed feeling, more energy and a better sleeping pattern.
During mind-walk® we combine different mindful walking techniques with exercises from yoga, mindfulness, tai chi, relaxation, meditation and breathwork. During this walk in nature you will move your body, and sometimes you stand still. The same applies to your head and your thoughts. Sometimes a bit of movement and then bring it to rest. A beautiful alternation between effort and relaxation. A unique way of walking in which we 'work' in and with nature.
